Beginning Oil Painting with Candace!
Discover the basics of painting with water based oils. Develop
your skills using brushes & palette knives while applying
paint to canvas. Topics covered are contour drawing & layout,
composition, color wheel basics, form, value, & mixing paint.
A one-time, nonrefundable material fee for new students (a
starter kit) of $45 is payable to the instructor on the first day
of class. Painting clothes are required and early enrollment
is encouraged. No class 3/17 & 4/14.

Intermediate Oil Painting!
Take your creativity to the next level! Explore nature, still-life, shape, form & imagination. You’re already familiar with painting
with oils, now deepen your knowledge of using brushes & palette knives while applying paint to various sizes of canvases.
We’ll cover drawing with paint & pencil, layout, & composition. Students will also be encouraged to draw in their sketch books.
All students will be charged for studio supplies they use in class. Painting clothes is required. Prerequisite: Must have taken
Beginning Oil Painting. Early enrollment is encouraged. No class 3/17 & 4/14.
